ShareFest is an event sponsored by area churches to demonstrate God’s love by reaching out to those in need within the Santa Cruz community during a weekend of service and giving. Churches and ministries will choose work projects to benefit people or social service agencies and perform those projects on Saturday, October 22. Materials goods for those in need (coats for the homeless, food for food pantries, new toys for needy tots) are being collected from October 1 through October 22. Blood drives for the Red Cross will occur throughout October. Churches are taking offerings to be shared among groups serving in the county.
The purpose of ShareFest Santa Cruz County is three-fold:
- To meet the deepest needs of our community
- To demonstrate the love of Jesus to the community
- To unite the churches of Santa Cruz County
