ShareFest projects are intended to benefit those most in need in the community. Special emphasis will be directed to benefit youth, those with limited incomes or who are jobless, the elderly, those who are sick, or the homeless. A church may choose from a varied list of worthy projects provided by ShareFest or develop a project on their own.
Projects are limited only by the creativity of each church, but typical projects could include painting, fixing, cleaning, or beautifying schools, nursing homes, public housing apartment buildings; or perhaps sprucing up playgrounds in public parks or schools. Each church will decide if they want to identify their own projects and focus within their immediate church community or if their heart is to do a “city reach” project in one of the cities of Santa Cruz County.
