Earlier this month, we featured the Veritas Forum event for October, a debate entitled “Should Intelligent Design Be Taught in the Schools?”
Today, the Sentinel ran an article describing the debate:
In a civil two-hour debate this past week at UC Santa Cruz, four experts with widely varying viewpoints presented the issue to more than 200 people at the Stevenson Event Center.

Believing that ChristianCruz.com can play a small part in facilitating that unity, we highlight events and news which we believe will be of interest to the larger Christian community in Santa Cruz County.
We do not provide these events and news items to encourage "church-shopping" in any way. Instead, we believe that providing this information will encourage you to pray for other churches and believers in our area. As we identify with each other in prayer, we believe that the Lord will continue to build community among us and that such community will serve as a foundation for us to reach out to those around us who do not yet know Christ.
We believe the following resources will prove helpful to the Christian community in Santa Cruz County as we endeavor to present the good news of Jesus to our friends and neighbors.
