City Team Ministries of San Jose and Santa Cruz Bible Church are coming together to seek the Lord’s will regarding the needs of the Poor in Santa Cruz. On Saturday September 13, 2003 from 9:00 am-Noon we will be fasting and praying specifically for the Lord’s direction on how / if City Team Ministries should develop a presence in downtown Santa Cruz sometime in 2004. Approximately $30,000 has been donated for this cause already.
Anyone and everyone who is interested in reaching out to the poor of our community is invited to join in prayer. Those who are interested will be meeting on the SCBC campus at 9:00 am in room AC10 (Coffee House).
The plan right now is to have a prayer/fasting event once per month throughNovember 2003. The team is trusting that the Lord will give them a vision and
direction on whether or not to proceed.
The needs in our community are great and it's time for the Church to come
together in unity to address these concerns.
