The Human Race is “growing a community one step at a time.” Last year 1,900 people walked or ran and raised over $187,000 for 150 Santa Cruz County nonprofit agencies, schools, service clubs and churches. This is not only a great way to be able to raise money for your Youth group, or ministry specific group, but it is a great way for the church to reach out to our community in a tangible way. Like supporting your favorite agency, school or ministry or volunteering for the day of the race itself.
Some of the local agencies you can Support are: Love INC, Pregnancy Resource Center of Santa Cruz, Elm Street Mission, Loaves and Fishes, New Life Community Center, to name just a few.
