Local believer Barbara Anderson wrote recently to encourage involvement in Watsonville’s Relay For Life.
Watsonville’s Relay for Life Kick-Off is scheduled for April 21, Wednesday, at 85 Nielsen Street, on the Watsonville Hospital grounds at 6:00 PM.
Barbara has had a team at the Relay for Life (American Cancer Society fund raiser) for 3 years. It has been a team with a Christian focus and Watsonville’s First Baptist Church has paid for their entry fee. It is a great way to get out of the pew and into the community. Last year 9 people left Barbara’s team with prayer requests and they prayed individually with several.

Local believer Ron Rackley will be sharing his cancer experience at the Kick-Off, and Barbara shares that she does not think he can do it without using Jesus’ name!!!
