On March 2, Veritas will be sponsoring Dr. Fritz Schaefer of the University of Georgia as he speaks on “Quantum Mechanics and Postmodernism.”
Veritas Forums are nationally-sponsored university events that encourage students and faculty in discussions about life’s hardest questions and the relevance to Jesus Christ to all of life. At UCSC, the Veritas Forum Team plans to present at least one speaker or panel each quarter. Last April, Veritas hosted Michael Behe, author of Darwin’s Black Box, who spoke on “The Biochemical Challenge to Darwinism.” In October, Michael Strauss of the Fermi Lab spoke on “The Origin and Design of the Cosmos.”
