Christ Lutheran Church in Aptos will be hosting a one-day parenting workshop on April 29. The workshop will be entitled, “Developing the Whole Child: Mind, Body & Spirit” and will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Keynote speakers will be Lorraine Pursell, who will be speaking on “Things Your Kids Tell Me (That You Should Know About),” and Rev. Karein Woida, who will be speaking on “Grace-Full Positive Parenting.”

Believing that ChristianCruz.com can play a small part in facilitating that unity, we highlight events and news which we believe will be of interest to the larger Christian community in Santa Cruz County.
We do not provide these events and news items to encourage "church-shopping" in any way. Instead, we believe that providing this information will encourage you to pray for other churches and believers in our area. As we identify with each other in prayer, we believe that the Lord will continue to build community among us and that such community will serve as a foundation for us to reach out to those around us who do not yet know Christ.
We believe the following resources will prove helpful to the Christian community in Santa Cruz County as we endeavor to present the good news of Jesus to our friends and neighbors.
