Beginning today (March 2, 2005), at the bottom of most posts on the front page of our site (and in our archives which will be up and running soon), you will find a series of small links: Comments, Trackbacks, Permalink, and Tell A Friend. These links provide you with the ability to participate in ongoing conversations among the Christian community in Santa Cruz County. Our hope is that ChristianCruz will become a participatory news service for the Christian community in our region of the world so that notices of events, for example, can be followed up with reports of how the Lord accomplished His purposes at those events. As believers learn of events through ChristianCruz, they can attend those events and then return to this website to report on the Lord’s work.
Comments allow you to report such follow-up news right here on ChristianCruz.com. If you have your own blog, you can use our Trackbacks system to comment on our news and event notices on your own site but still let visitors to ChristianCruz know that you have posted comments. The Permalink for each post is an easy way for you to link from a non-blog website directly to an individual story on ChristianCruz. Finally, the Tell A Friend feature allows you to pass on individual stories to your friends and acquaintances.
