The Sentinel ran an article recently about the upcoming closure of Neighborhood Day Care Center, the daycare which was affiliated with Shorelife Community Church but is now closing due to the closure of Capitola Elementary School which was the primary source of Neighborhood Day Care Center’s enrollment.
The article mentions that Neighborhood Day Care Center’s director, Doris Correll, is opening a family day care center for children preschool to fifth grade. It seems to us that now would be a great time for the Christian community to support Doris after all she has given to the larger community in Santa Cruz County.
