Missions Festival at Santa Cruz Bible Church

by ChristianCruz Staff

For three weekends in November, Santa Cruz Bible Church will be hosting their annual missions festival. This promises to be a strategic look at God’s work across the world.

The following is from Santa Cruz Bible’s description of the event:

Hear the stories of survival in the jungles of Irian Jaya to death threats in the deserts of Iraq. This year’s World Class Lecturers include current event briefings on Iraq and the Tsunami impacted regions of Indonesia.

Yousif Matty of Kurdistan, Iraq, Jim Yost of Papua New Guinea and Frank Gobel of SCBC will speak on the theme “Discipling Nations: One person at a time.”

For Kids, we will kick off the festival with fun, prize winning activity booths, dramatic and puppet presentations during and after services. Don’t miss the additional briefings from the speakers after the Sunday services.

You will hear stirring accounts from Yousif Matty and Jim Yost. These men are “nation builders” whom God has used powerfully to shape their respective countries. They will pass on key principles to inspire you to make the most of this precious season of time that we call “life.” Their experiences of suffering, discipling, commitment, love, prayer and service have changed and continue to impact the course of their respective nations.
