The first two weeks of September will see several missionaries visiting our county.
On September 2 & 8, from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m., Father Cyprian Consiglio will be sharing on “Spirit, Soul and Body: The Universal Call to Contemplation” at Holy Cross Parish Hall. Father Consiglio is a Camldolese monk, composer and recording artist. He will be introducing all who come to the Christian contemplative tradition through song, prayer and practice. Join Temple Naioth on Saturday, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. as Don Finto of Caleb Company in Hashville Tennessee will be sharing. Don is the author of Your People Shall Be My People, a book on reconcilation between the Jewish and Gentile church, God’s end-time purposes for Israel, and the coming great revival. On Sunday, September 5 at 10:30 a.m, Redwood Christian Center will be hosting veteran missionaries DeLonn and Valerie Rance, who have spent the past 19 years ministering in El Salvador. They are currently in the United States ministering, and serving as Missionaries in Residence for the 2004-2005 school year at Bethany College.
On Sunday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m., Tom Randall will be sharing with the congregation of Gateway Bible Church (follow directions to the outdoor amphitheatre. Tom Randall is the Director of World Harvest Ministries. He also runs an orphanage in the Philippines as well as a Christian Camp that hosts 20,000 people per year. Tom is also the chaplain to the PGA Seniors Tour, the PGA Tour and the World Tour and he mentors several professional golfers.
Tom speaks throughout the Globe and yet he is very excited to be with Gateway Bible. After the service, the church will be holding a picnic at Skypark complete with jump houses for the kids. Hamburgers and hot dogs and drinks will be provided, you will need to provide a salad or dessert. Tickets are on sale at church this weekend or at the church office.
