As we approach the Holiday Season more and more needs arise within our community. Single moms, widows, moms and dads that are unemployed, as well as some disabled folks need our help. Love INC is working with local churches trying to coordinate resources and meet those needs.
As California’s budget continues to be cut, local agencies have fewer funds to meet the needs of the poor. It is time for the Church to come together and pool our resources in meeting the felt needs as well as the spiritual needs of these people.
In order to keep their doors open, Love INC is in desperate need of Partner Churches. There is a great need for churches to avail their congregations and become part of a volunteer network in reaching out to our community. Love INC Santa Cruz County also needs financial assistance in meeting their monthly budget. They are operating with approximately a $3,000 per month deficit and drastic measures have already been taken to keep their doors open.
