Love INC recently worked with a mother whose children were kidnapped over a custody issue. Four churches in Santa Cruz County teamed up to help her gain full custody, meet a shortfall in her rent ($213) and then get her to Utah to pick up her kids. Not only is this mother impressed with Christ’s love, but so are the caseworker and authorities who watched God’s love in practical action.
During September, Love INC worked for the churches to meet 142 needs. This work included 62 referrals from agencies, 37 from churches and 33 from friends.
