Love INC, an organization that networks the Church in Santa Cruz County to meet the needs of the poor, has volunteer opportunities open to help with our internal operations. We need help so that we can provide the best services possible to the poor through the Body of Christ in this County.
Current Volunteer Positions Needed
Office Coordinator
This position supports volunteers and helps coordinate and keep our office organized. Computer and clerical skills are a plus. This is a great opportunity to serve and the help is much needed. Current office hours are Monday - Friday 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Schedules are flexible and training provided.
Accounting Support
We need someone who is willing to donate time to help us with our bookkeeping. This could be done at our office during our hours of operation, or remotely at home whenever you want. Accounting experience is a plus. Training and orientation will be provided. We need help for about 5 hours a month in in this area.
Helpline Volunteers
This person answers phone calls from people in need, assesses their needs and connects them with resources within the church, or the community. The volunteer advocates for that client contacting local partner churches or agencies who may be able to help. Volunteers must have phone and people skills. Computer skills are also a plus. Current office hours are Monday Friday 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Schedules are flexible and training provided.
