The Sentinel ran an article today about the upcoming expiration of the crossing guard program at six local elementary schools. In discussing the predicament, the article mentions that Love INC has offered to provide church volunteers from the community for the program.

What Is Love INC?
Love In the Name of Christ is: 1) a strategy to help churches help their neighbors in need; 2) a network of churches that links volunteers to people in need; 3) a cooperative effort between churches and service agencies to provide effective help for the disadvantaged; and, 4) a vehicle that helps churches, collectively and individually, fulfill their biblical mandate to reach out to the poor and needy.
