The Santa Cruz Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) needs your help! To continue providing quality care to their clients and ongoing abstinence education for teens in churches and schools, the center must increase their income.
On May 1, the center began their “virtual “ resale store, Found Treasures. The goal is to generate ongoing funds for the center so that they will not have to depend on fundraising events throughout the year. Items donated will be sold online and at monthly “warehouse sales.”
How can you help?
First of all, donate those items that you would normally take to Goodwill or leave in the garage or attic. Second, make your family, neighbors and church friends aware of Found Treasures. The center will provide flyers to pass out and will make it easy to make donations with free monthly pickup throughout the county.
The PRC continues to change the lives of its clients from hopelessness and despair to knowledge that they are loved by God and the counselors who minister to them at the center. Won’t you please help the center continue to enlarge this ministry?
Here is a list of the types of items that the center would like to sell. In addition, they are now able to receive vehicle donations - all you will need to do is contact Found Treasures for pickup.
Desirable donated items for the store are: Automobiles (working or not), boats, furniture in good condition, working household appliances, coin/stamp/sports card collections, jewelry, silver, books, artwork, small antiques (glass, pottery, etc.), sports equipment, most types of video games (Nintendo, Playstation, Sega) and unique collectibles. They also will take clothing in very good condition. The sale of donated items will be through an online store and a monthly “warehouse sale.” Proceeds will benefit PRC. Tax receipts are available for donations.
