Halloween Alternatives

Local churches will be offering Halloween alternatives to the children of our county. Click on the "MORE" link below for more information. If you know of any other Halloween alternatives happening in Santa Cruz County, please submit them using our "Submit News link.

So far, we are aware of these events (events listed will take place on October 31 unless otherwise noted):

  • The Coastlands church campus will be transformed into an animal safari, with sights from the Antarctic, a rainforest, the outback, a jungle and much more!

    This annual Sweets and Treats Night will take place on Friday, October 31 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The event offers a free, safe and fun trick-or-treating event for babies through 5th grade. A fantastic home-cooked meal will also be available for purchase from 5:30-8:00 p.m.

  • Santa Cruz Bible Church will be hosting The Rubix, complete with three awesome mazes, food, bounce house, trunk or treat, and pictures!

    The event will be open for preschoolers from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., for elementary school age children from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and to everyone from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

  • Christian Life Center will be having their annual Harvest Fun-Fest from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  The evening will feature food, candy, games and lots of fun!

  • First Baptist Church of Watsonville has invited Streetside Hope to sponsor a Harvest Fest to be held at their location from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  The evening will feature game booths, a jump house, face painting, hot dogs and drinks.
