Habitat For Humanity Construction Stalled By Tool Theft

by ChristianCruz Staff

The Sentinel ran a story yesterday about the theft of tools from a Habitat for Humanity jobsite. The theft has significantly hampered the beginning of construction on a low-income housing project in Watsonville. Please read the story and then consider how you might be able to help this non-profit organization which provides housing to the disadvantaged in our county.

On a happier note, Habitat will celebrate the dedication of homes at 215 Rooney Street in Santa Cruz on Saturday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. At the celebration, you can meet the new homeowners and the Habitat volunteers as well as enjoy refreshments.
