On Saturday, October 25 at 4:00 p.m. First Baptist Church of Santa Cruz is inviting the community to help celebrate 145 years of continuous ministry in Santa Cruz. The church is hosting “Let the Heavens Rejoice!” a Pipe Organ Concert featuring noted church musician Dave Talbott of Mt. Hermon Christian Conference Center, Vlada Volkova Moran from Russia, and the church’s surfing organist Ms. Stephanie Zabitz (Stephanie is a graduate of UCSC in oceanography and an accomplished pianist and organist… and yes, she surfs, sometimes even before choir practice and services.)
The church will host a reception following the concert. Located at 411 Roxas, you can reach First Baptist Church of Santa Cruz by exiting Highway 1 at Morrissey, turning left onto Fairmount, left onto San Juan Street and right onto Roxas.
