The Healing Rooms of Monterey Bay opened in Santa Cruz in June of 2003. Here, Christians are available to pray for the sick and those with other needs for healing. The ministry is based on the Great Commission which tells us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. They also lay hands on and pray over the sick, as this passage says we will do.
Anyone, either Christian or non-Christian is welcome to walk-in. It is free, and no money is solicited. In a very pleasant envionment, those in need of prayer go into a room with three pray-ers. They are very respectful of privacy and in their handling of a person’s needs.
