ShareFest, an event sponsored by area churches to demonstrate God’s love by reaching out to those in need within the Santa Cruz community during a weekend of service and giving, will take place this Saturday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m.
Here is a sampling of projects and times which will be taking place on Saturday:
- Yard work, power wash & painting at New Brighton Middle School & Live Oak Elementary School (9:30 - 12:00 p.m.)
- Planter box construction & yard clean up at Live Oak Preschool (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
- Needle & trash clean up at River Levy (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
- Santa Cruz Main Beach & Twin Lakes Beach litter clean up (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
- Capitola-Soquel Little League field repairs (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
- Yard work & Painting (at River Street Shelter & Elm Street Mission) (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
- Food distribution & delivery (at Twin Lakes Church) (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
- Minor Roof Repair at Live Oak Senior Center (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
