Our hope is that ChristianCruz will become a participatory news service for the Christian community in our region of the world so that notices of events, for example, can be followed up with reports of how the Lord accomplished His purposes at those events. Salvation Army Prohibited From Target

The Sentinel ran a story today about how Target’s corporate offices in Minneapolis have tightened enforcement of their no solicitation policy. This means that the local Salvation Army will not be able to send its bell-ringers to the local Target in Watsonville, which represents a significant portion of their fund-raising activities this holiday season.

Perhaps we could prayerfully consider doing our part as the Christian community in Santa Cruz to make up the difference. The Watsonville chapter of the Salvation Army can be reached at 831.728.4712.
