On Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Pony People will hold a fundraiser to benefit Job, a five-year-old boy who is severely disabled after being abused as a baby. The fundraiser will help Job continue his therapy and will help his grandmother Molly, who has adopted Job, purchase a much needed wheelchair-adapted van. 50% of all pony ride donations will go to help Job and his grandmother. The other 50% of pony ride donations will help Pony People continue its activities for Job and others like him.
The following activities and organizations will be featured at the event:
- pony rides — a $5.00 donation is requested per five-minute ride
- professional photographer — available to take pictures with the ponies
- Baskets by Elizabeth — a beautiful collection of holiday and gift baskets
- Mary Kay Cosmetics — a quality line of skin care products
- Harvest Produce — fruits, vegetables and pumpkins available for purchase
The event will take place at 4171 Glenwood Drive in Scotts Valley. Call 408.828.9185 with questions.
