WHAT'S YOUR PERSPECTIVE?

Our hope is that ChristianCruz will become a participatory news service for the Christian community in our region of the world so that notices of events, for example, can be followed up with reports of how the Lord accomplished His purposes at those events. As believers learn of events through ChristianCruz, they can attend those events and then return to this website to report on the Lord’s work. Comments allow you to report such follow-up news right here on ChristianCruz.com. If you have any questions about how to use these features, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note: to prevent inappropriate messages (often called "comment spam"), comments will not appear on the site until they have been approved by our staff. Thank you very much for your understanding.

New Member Gideon Dinner

There will be a Gideon Dinner Meeting at Peachwoods Steakhouse (Pasatiempo Inn) off of Highway 17 on Tuesday, March 8, at 6:30 p.m.

The Gideons’ State Chaplain, Don Beechler, will be speaking on Bible Distribution in 3rd World Countries.  Also, the Gideons’ Women’s Auxiliary Director Lynne Peterson will be speaking about the Work of the Women’s Auxiliary in distributing Bibles to Hospitals, Doctors’ offices, Women’s Shelters & Jails.

Each Month, the Gideons of Santa Cruz have a “Distribution Theme”.  In February, the Gideons covered all the hotels, motels, and Bed & Breakfasts in Santa Cruz. In March, they will be distributing to all police, sheriff, fire, CDF, and harbor. Finally, in April the Gideons will finish their school distributions.

There is a lot of work to be done and the Gideons need a lot more help to carry God’s Word. They invite any interested Christian Businessman to attend the March 8 dinner to learn about their work. For more information, contact David De La Rosa at 831.427.3040.
