Love INC completed 2005 having responded to over 1,300 calls for help. These ranged from just giving people some phone numbers and prayer to days spent in verifying their story, coordinating agencies and churches to meet the need and repeated conversations with the client to keep them encouraged.
Director Bill Carlsberg reports:
It is very rewarding to help Christ’s Body give such a wise yet loving response. We do need more involvement from Santa Cruz County churches to be a better network. Make this the year to take a step up in your Benevolence Ministry.
