WHAT'S YOUR PERSPECTIVE?

Our hope is that ChristianCruz will become a participatory news service for the Christian community in our region of the world so that notices of events, for example, can be followed up with reports of how the Lord accomplished His purposes at those events. As believers learn of events through ChristianCruz, they can attend those events and then return to this website to report on the Lord’s work. Comments allow you to report such follow-up news right here on ChristianCruz.com. If you have any questions about how to use these features, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note: to prevent inappropriate messages (often called "comment spam"), comments will not appear on the site until they have been approved by our staff. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus

Twin Lakes Church will present the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus on Sunday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are only $10 apiece.  Call 831.465.3300 for more information.

Founded in 1993 by American conductor Roger McMurrin for the specific purpose of performing Western Classical masterpieces, which were forbidden during the Soviet era, the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus is the largest private musical ensemble of its kind in Ukraine, consisting of 160 members.

The purpose of Music Mission Kiev is to bring the sacred masterpieces of classical music to the country of Ukraine, proclaiming the Gospel to and through Ukrainian musicians to the world — and ministering to the emerging Christian community in Ukraine through evangelism, discipleship, and humanitarian outreach to widows and orphans. Their vision is to build a Christian Center that will serve as a central point for the community with a Christian hospital, church, concert hall, seminary, and a humanitarian outreach facility.
