WHAT'S YOUR PERSPECTIVE?

Our hope is that ChristianCruz will become a participatory news service for the Christian community in our region of the world so that notices of events, for example, can be followed up with reports of how the Lord accomplished His purposes at those events. As believers learn of events through ChristianCruz, they can attend those events and then return to this website to report on the Lord’s work. Comments allow you to report such follow-up news right here on ChristianCruz.com. If you have any questions about how to use these features, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please note: to prevent inappropriate messages (often called "comment spam"), comments will not appear on the site until they have been approved by our staff. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Hymn Sing At Mount Hermon

Mount Hermon’s ninth year of “Great Hymns of the Faith” hymn sings continue on Thursday, April 14. The “Sing” begins at 10:00 a.m. with refreshments, the hymn sing in the main auditorium at 10:45 a.m., and concludes with lunch in the Dining Hall at 12:00 noon. Dave Talbott, director of adult ministries and resident musician, hosts the programs from the piano and organ. The cost is still only $10 per person for lunch, including dessert, beverage, and tax.

Reservations are essential by Tuesday, April 12 and should be phoned to the Mount Hermon Office at 831.335.4466. Hymn Sings are a wonderful opportunity for groups to come together for a day of worship and fellowship. Group reservations are welcomed.

These Hymn Sings are great fun and Dave does a super job of throwing in bits of info about the hymns...gives you a chance to catch your breath between songs.

For a rant about the pleasures of singing off the cuff see:  http://companyofsaints.com/newsletters/jannews04.html
