As believers learn of events through ChristianCruz, they can attend those events and then return to this website to report on the Lord’s work. The Sentinel ran a story today about the level of success various charities experienced in their fundraising drives this holiday season. The Watsonville Salvation Army overcame the refusal of Target to allow bellringers, but the Santa Cruz branch did not fare as well. Toys for Tots did well, but Second Harvest Food Bank is still in need of further help.
Remember that love is not limited by the calendar - anytime is a great time to display the compassion of Christ in giving to those in need.

Believing that ChristianCruz.com can play a small part in facilitating that unity, we highlight events and news which we believe will be of interest to the larger Christian community in Santa Cruz County.
We do not provide these events and news items to encourage "church-shopping" in any way. Instead, we believe that providing this information will encourage you to pray for other churches and believers in our area. As we identify with each other in prayer, we believe that the Lord will continue to build community among us and that such community will serve as a foundation for us to reach out to those around us who do not yet know Christ.
We believe the following resources will prove helpful to the Christian community in Santa Cruz County as we endeavor to present the good news of Jesus to our friends and neighbors.
