Rick Church is pastor of Central Baptist Church, Spokane Washington and focuses on the relational nature of Christ. He also serves as a hospital chaplain and works with community groups to addess human needs. Rick was pastor of Santa Cruz Community Church (formerly First Baptist Church for 12 years). His hometown is a small town in the San Joaquin Valley of California, Lamont, which is 8 miles from Bakersfield, CA. He was a newspaper editor before he entered the Christian ministry in 1986 in the San Joaquin Valley town of Taft, CA. He was educated at Bakersfield College, California State University, Chico,  Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA and the American Baptist Seminary of the West. Rick holds a B.A. degree in journalism and a Master’s Degree in Divinity.
